About Us

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE “OUT OF IT”?

OUT OF IT means to be out of the ordinary, to be different from others, to not be normal. Customarily when someone says you’re out of it, they usually convey to you being zoned out or to not be on the same page as another individual.

WHY IS OUT OF IT SPELLED WITH THE “F” BACKWARDS?

The “F” In OUT OF IT is flipped horizontally because of its difference from the other letters (O, U, T, and I). If these four letters were to be shown in a mirror, they would look the exact same, but when you put “F” in the mirror, it’s a totally different figure. The flipped “F” symbolizes an individual that looks ordinary on the outside but when looked at in their deeper meaning, oneself realizes that they are outstanding from others.

OUR MISSION:

Our Mission at OUT OF IT is to let individuals know that approval is not needed from society to be different than others surrounding you. Normalcy is boring.

BEHIND THE LOGO:

Our logo below on the left has deeper meaning than just an upside down triangle with an arrow through it. The O.O.I. Logo originally comes from the Alchemical symbol for Earth as seen in the figure below on the right. With few modifications, our logo has an arrow going through to symbolize being out of this world.
